This ring demands attention, as it sits high off the finger. An advantage as a gift ring is this ring has an adjustable band so it can fit a range of finger sizes and you don't need to get a measurement from the recipient. You can see from the pictures that the band is not closed. It has an opening at the top, under the gem. This allows it to be opened and made to a larger size to make a comfortable fit.
