Recent changes to goods entering USA

We are happy to report that we continue to send to USA without delay following the recent tariff changes implemented by USA.  The big takeaway is that gifts under $100 are TARIFF FREE.  

What's the story: Following a directive from the US government effective from 29 August 2025 all goods entering the USA now have taxes applied.  The previous de minimis (exempt limit) of below $800 no longer applies. However, gifts sent with a value of less than $100 or €85 can continue to be sent as normal with no change or charge.  

What we are doing:  We will reduce your admin headache by pre clearance of your package, via An Post, to ensure faster customs processing and transparent costs. 

What you should do: 

• Let us know if your purchase is a gift by a message in the Special Instructions box at checkout.
• If it is over this value, and/or not a gift, your email address will be provided to our carriage partner, An Post. 
• Keep an eye for an email from An Post and follow the instructions to pay the 15% charge that may be implemented.  Payment must be made within 5 days. 
• Once paid, your package will continue onwards to be delivered to the recipient without hassle or charge at the receiving end.  

We expect that the systems are in place and there will be no or minimum delay in delivery.  We hope you understand that is is outside our control and in the hands of officials .  Please get in touch if you have any questions regarding the above change.
